Current Projects - May 2024

  • The 100 Day Project

Every year in February, The 100 Day Project begins and thousands of people from all over the world commit to creating something, anything, for 100 days. I have never fully completed one but I am hopeful this year that I will. I chose a project that is simple, travel-able (since I am traveling more than usual during these 100 days), and it has proven, thus far, to be quite meaningful: tiny collages made from scraps and words. I’m also choosing a meaningful song clip to add to them, and sharing them in my Instagram stories.

  • 2. Creating Products

I have several products I am interested in creating, including turning a few of my ‘Birds with Crowns’ cards into wall hangings. Additionally, I have a few bird t-shirts I have designed and am searching for a connection to get them printed. I have a journal that I am excited about creating and will be busy trying to get these products out into the world. Stay tuned!

  • 3. C3 Ministry

Christian Creative Collective, or C3 Ministry, was created for the Christian woman who finds creativity an essential part of her becoming – that is, her coming into the masterpiece God designed her to be - and who desires to do so in community, with like-minded women to walk alongside.

C3 gatherings are made up of a sisterhood of truth and beauty seekers, hope followers, storytellers, and creatives whose lives and artistry have been redeemed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we gather in His name, in a welcoming and safe environment, we are encouraged, and we encourage one another on our spiritual and artistic journeys and can then, pour into our communities from the abundant overflow we have received from Christ.

  • 4. Taking Classes in Fodder School

For Christmas, my in laws gifted me with something I am so very excited to complete - an entier year of Fodder School offered through Willla Wanders. With life, and coaching basketball, and our family’s trials through mental health and PANDAS, and teaching and ‘all the things’, I will be completing this at a much slower pace than I’d like to but nevertheless, I’m super excited about it! I haven’t decided what I’m going to do about Instagram yet, but if I decide to keep showing up in that space, I will post pics of my Fodder School creations there.

  • 5. Current Book Stack

I love sharing my current book stack in case it prompts someone to reach out and share that they’re reading something I’m reading, or have already read it and would like to share insight, or in case you might want some book recommendations! Please reach out for any of these!

  • 6. Writing

I am always writing. With 22 Word documents currently open on my laptop, including blog posts, Substack articles, thoughts and prayers, I can confidently say that writing has been a huge factor and a part of my healing journey. And, I am SO EXCITED about a writing project that the Lord has led me to that I’ll be sharing soon! I hope you’ll follow along.
